Clean Solution

Contact solution has an expiration date and can actually lose its effectiveness after a certain period of time. Furthermore, microparticles that can be harmful if introduced to the surface of your eye can start to grow inside of the contact solution bottle.
To prevent this from happening, simply pay attention to the expiration date and make a note of when you opened the bottle. Pay close attention to the care labels on the bottle and keep the solution stored in a cool and dry environment.
Remove Makeup
If you are someone who regularly wears makeup, it would be best to get in the habit of removing it before dealing with your contacts. Additionally, you do not want to run the risk of getting small particles in your eyes, which can potentially scratch the surface of the eye or infect it.
